could add the Broadcom mini-PCI card to make 1080 HD play smoothly
no IR yet, sadly.
NMT: network media tank. Cheap and ready to run, and can play higher-res video than the xbox. Doubt it can watch MythTV live though.
I wonder if it would work on a Nook e-ink....
might be the HD holy grail for MythTV?

A clever design, which might not be hard to mimic! Basically, the frame becomes the heatsink as well as supporting everything. Using the hollow space in the posts might even be good for cable management.
