NMT: network media tank. Cheap and ready to run, and can play higher-res video than the xbox. Doubt it can watch MythTV live though.

XBMC for Linux doesn't support any hardware accelleration as of this writing! Weird, because I thought that was what the CrystalHD thing was for, and now I wonder what they did to make the Boxxee box keep up.
