Bird is using unique GPS technology to prevent customers in some cities from riding their electric scooters on the sidewalk.
Cheap, and can do offline GPS. Should be rootable, too. Main alternative, to me, would be a Samsung, for being Korean-made.
If I could use my netbook with a GPS receiver, I could get a nice screen and the versatility to make it work for driving too, maybe even without the computer.
