Might take some work to figure out how to run a different desktop environment than Gnome.
Not clear on the distinction between these and gnomes in general.
This sucks. I have to use bitmap fonts to get around this, and had to hack the font settings to make them available.
might be part of the fix to get all those classic fonts to show in Gnome.
