Not fancy, but one possibility.
Is it too good to be true? I could do this, and add the ZigBee-capable hub later.
you could combine these for a bigger prefab, too
Maybe this could power a relay with a timer, to control a fan that shuts off afer a set time? It would be great if it worked without a hub, but I'd settle for having to set it up through hub logic.
I see some similarity to our design with a shipping container.
