I bet there is a slot for the card bracket flanges, and you just slide the whole motherboard in place with the cards in their slots. Simple! I wonder if a wood case could be similar.

Not sure if this has GPS, but you can get USB host adapters to use a keyboard, 3G dongle, external drive, and so on. And it might be even better if you can root it...
