Since it's just a relay and uses an Internet service, it seems like it would be easy to replace with GPIO or a Z-Wave relay, and linking it to Vera or OpenHAB. Or, maybe just an authenticated web login?
Might be the cheapest way to get all the radios, before switching to OpenHAB or similar. I'm not sure it can control WiFi-based thermostats, but the Wiser Air can talk to both WiFi and ZigBee...
