brilliant idea
A couple different simple designs, for varying inputs and outputs.
uses the LM317T regulator
This seems to be intended for fans, but I don't know the horsepower; should be less than 600 watts.
Might be an option, but not thrilled with the profile.
I might make a variation of the trailer, and add a steerable front wheel for use as a scooter.
This might work without a Tradfri gateway, and is claimed to work with Vera using althue connector. Not sure if OpenHAB can talk to it, but it should.
