I'm thinking of trying this instead of running Samba off the drive, and use wget from the router to mirror off an FTP server to keep it updated. Oh, and I can ftp files to it individually from the media server on demand.
Apparently a bad choice with Wink, according to the reviews. Guess I'll build my safety system separate from the automation at first.
