It seems like Comcast has to push out the update, and it removes the remote restart capability. There is a "restart modem" in the customer portal, so I'm not sure if those use the same mechanism.
Cheap, and can do offline GPS. Should be rootable, too. Main alternative, to me, would be a Samsung, for being Korean-made.

This seems to suggest that someone can press the learn button from the keypad and set a new PIN and entry code. If that will open the door, then I don't want this keypad.
